HOW DOES IT WORK?

Pulses of light target unwanted pigment and vessels within the skin. The light delivered causes them to slowly disappear through your body's natural healing process

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Most treatments can be performed in under 30 minutes depending on the treatment area.  A conductive gel will be applied to your skin and you will be provided with a laser grade protective shield. A hand piece is used to deliver a series of intense pulses of light to your skin. The treatment can feel like a mild sting or a snap from an elastic band, however patients do not report any pain. 

You may experience slight redness

You can expect to see a decrease in the appearance of brown spots and vessels.

You will see some improvement immediately followed by continued improvement over time. Generally dark spots treated by IPL will darken over the course of the first week and then fade over the next 1-3 weeks. Vessels should fade or partially fade over 10-14 days. A series of treatments, spaced a few weeks apart, may be needed to achieve your desired results.
