DR. NAGHMEH THOMPSON

If you’re looking for kindness and compassion, then let Dr. Thompson manage your eye care and wellness. From a thorough comprehensive exam to diagnosing and treating eye disease, contact us to see how she can help you.

From childhood, Dr. Thompson had a glimpse of the optometry world once she started wearing her first pair of glasses in elementary school. Fast forward to high school, she always took an interest in eyes. It was the first thing she noticed about people. After having the opportunity to shadow her optometrist in grade 10 she confirmed that was the field she wanted to pursue. Years later she was able to fulfill that dream. She is passionate about her job and loves helping her patients, who often feel just like family. She tries to provide a warm, relaxed atmosphere for her patients.
She loves spending time with her patients. During her eye exams, you may be addressing anything vision correction to ocular nutrition and eye healthy recipes. She is a firm believer in preventative care and overall body wellness.

Dr. Naghmeh Thompson completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree, with Honours and a minor in Hispanic studies. She then completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is licensed to practice in both Canada and the United States.
She takes a special interest in ocular disease including dry eye disease and
ocular aesthetics. She also enjoys performing children's eye exams. She is also certified to prescribe medication in the treatment and management of ocular diseases e.g. bacterial infections, viral infections, glaucoma, allergies and other conditions
